redhat8.0--how to add a new user

I just installed redhat 8.0 on my IBM laptop, it's my first time. So I didn't add any user, just entered the root password.

Now, when I boot to linux, it asks me to enter a user and and password. I have no idea now.

Please teach me how to add a new user, I'm new to linux.

thanks alot,

You can still log in as root. From the prompt you can use the command

to add a new user. Type in man useradd to find out about the command and the different options. Alternatively, log in as root, and check in the menu under system or utiliities to see if there is a gui program to add users or mangage users. I'm pretty sure there is one under KDE, but I don't remember.
