Redhat4 : How to access remotely and use graphical application?

Redhat4 : How to access remotely and use graphical application?
I can connect to this computer remotely using ssh, and I can use ftp , too. The only problem is that I can't run graphical application remotely.

I used X-windows client in my remote computer, and there is no problem running the applications.. However, I don't know what software I should install in this computer, so that I can access remotely and run graphical applications.

Thank you

I'm a newbie also but how about trying this:

Try TightVNC, you can load it down from I use it for graphical applications, slow but works o.k.

Change your settings in /etc/xinitd - I think!

During installation time of the OS you have to specify whether you want VNC then reconfigure some parms in the file.

Hope this helps some what.

You should be able to do ssh -X , which forwards the X window application. I do it every now and then- running Konqueror, which gives me a terminal emulator to run other apps.
