Redhat with DM602 router problem
Hi,
I've been searching for an answer to my problem but with no luck. I am new to linux and have been trying to complete the simple task of getting online via the network controller on a NforceII board and a Netgear DM602. When DHCP is enabled, eth0 wont start during boot, but by specifying IP details etc, it appears to be "up". Under windows, all I usually do is pass 192.168.0.1 into a browser to get the config details up for the router, but I've had no luck trying similar ideas. Do I need to add a ppp xDSL connection as well as the straight eth0 deal? Why does DHCP seemingly mess everything up? Help! |
