Hello Linuxpista,

I not know you computer system, but my advice is go for Fedora Core 3 if you want to use Redhat.

If you think about installing Linux on an "newer" notebook go for Suse 9.2.

Comparing (as far as possible) Fedora Core 3 with Suse 9.2, Suse 9.2 Prof offers lots of advances for notebooks, but is not free.

With kind regards,

Richard

P.S. I'm a happy Fedora Core 3 user, with not an fast computer it still works "really" fine
