Post REdhat Linux administration quick help needed

Few experiences folks out there, please help me with an answer as i am new learner.

1)you installed a new shell on your system and moved all users to the new shell. The users then start complaining thet they cannot log in with FTP anymore. which one of the following do you go ?

a)The FTP server only supports sh and csh.
b)Add the shell to the etc/ftpaccess file
c)Run the shells(5) command as root
d)The FTP server needs to be recompiled with support for the new shell
e)Add the new shell to /etc/shells

Your linux system was set up for networking,but you can only ping hosts on your provider's network as shown above.what do you need to do ?
