RedHat Clusters & EMC vMax, vPlex Metro distributed volumes

I'm curious if there's anyone with any practical experiece with EMC vMax/vPlex/witness metro ... distributed volumes as LUNs for nodes of a streached RedHat cluster where some of the nodes reside in one datacenter, and the other nodes reside in a second data center.

Experiences - good, bad, lessons learned appreciated.
