1. The syllabus.
2. Model test papers.
3. The right knowledge and capability (comes from experience and knowing redhat specific jargon).
Tick all three. Sure to pass.

There are online practice materials. Just do a search for 'red hat cert'.

Since you don't say what you DO know already, the only answer we can give you is "You need to know Linux". If you know the subject, the test should be simple. If you don't, then you're not ready/qualified to be 'certified'.

I advice you that besides covering the exam objectives, also prepare yourself for the worse situation, so you won't get stuck during the exam. You can achieve this by more practice. Also avoid use of Internet and use 'man' instead.
