redhat 9 updates

New to linux and have just installed my first copy of redhat linux 9.0.
Can anybody tell me how to/ where to download and install updates in pain english?

Redhat 9 is no longer officially supported by Redhat so no updates are made available by them. However, you can take a look at the Fedora Legacy, you may find some assistance there. If you can get hold of Fedora Core (3 is the latest version) I'd recommend that instead of Redhat 9.
