redhat 9 quesion
 
i need to have xwindows not running to install something

so i need to get redhat 9 to get to a commad line only, how would i do that?

ive looked around and cant find any way to do it :confused:

i tried Ctrl+Alt+F#, but it still said that xwindows was running
