Exclamation Redhat 9 installation Syntax Error?

I am trying to install Redhat 9. I have downloaded the 3 .iso files from the Redhat site from another computer running Windows XP and I am trying to install Redhat 9 on another computer I have. I then burn the images to cd's using Nero. I then boot from the first cd and run the mediacheck and it says the cd is fine. But when I go to start the installation I get errors somewhat like the following:

Traceback (innermost last):
File "/usr/tmp/.../.../.../? where ... is some file name.

At first I thought it was a bad .iso image so I downloaded the .iso files from a mirror site on the redhat site and still kept getting the errors, so I tried a third time and still the same. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Here is what I have in my computer:
AMD Athlon XP 1800
512 Ram
30 gig hard drive
20 gig hard drive
Acer 52X cd-rom
Sony CDR drive
Biostar Motherboard

Please if you can help me it would be greatly appreciated. I am new to Redhat and frustrated

If you could be as specific as possible with the error message that would help us out alot. I thought it might be a bad burn, but you've already checked that. The only thing I can think of is that the error message might give more hints about what could be the problem. Also, if you're not hell bent on using RedHat, have you looked into other distributions (Mandrake, for example, is quite similar in style to it from what I hear)?
