Redhat 9.0 up2date is not working

I'm running redhat 9.0 and everytime I try running up2date I get an error that says "problem registering username". I've tried creating a new account and using an existing redhat network account but both give me the same error. Anybody know what I can do to fix this? Is this a known problem for redhat 9 users?

https://rhn.redhat.com/help/latest-up2date.pxt

follow the instructions on that page and up2date should work, but i don't know that up2date will work now that redhat 9.0 isn't supported by rhn.

btw, since rh9 isn't supported anymore, i whole-heartedly recommend slackware 9.1 as your next distro.
