i installed it and updated the software. i changed the theme colors and went to the vid card to fix the hertz. i have an ati radeon 9800 pro and set it on the radeon 9700 pro. i rebooted and now when i enter my username and password. it freezes on redhats splash screen and wont load into the gui.

have you installed the ati drivers?

read the instructions on the ati site for how to install the driver..
