Redhat 8.0 + 3D acceleration

I am running an ASUS L8400B Notebook with an 8mb savage mx vid card in it. Just wondering if there is a way to enable 3d acceleration. I realize its not a very good vid chipset but I was just curious since I can't even run the games that come with redhat 8.0 (except for the basic ones)
thanks, please email any tips

Try with the drivers coming with you XFree. Try to add
Load "glx"
at the beggining (where the rest of "load' lines is) of your XFree86Config-4.
