Exclamation redhat 7.2 cds


I was just wanted to know do I need all four disk to install 7.2 or do i just need the first two


And if I wanted to do a dual boot with windows xp pro and redhat 7.2 do i just do it like I would if i was going to put say windows xp pro and windows 2000 server as a dual boot

7.2 only needs the first 2 (actually maybe even just the first one, but no more than the first 2 I know for sure)

Dual booting is addressed alot here, this will depend on what boot manager you use. You will probably have the choice between LILO or Grub (which I think might be default on 7.2?). It's personal preference on that version as neither one is limited in any way, so choose. I prefer Lilo, but many others say Grub, so go with what your heart desires, then search here for instructions on dual booting with em.

thanks for the reply and yes grub is default on 7.2 sorry i got tired of wating so i tryed it and all went well intill the end after it was all installed it came up with so mane errors i can't remember them all. I think it was bad disks. owell here in a week i'll have mandrake 9.0 is it as easy as redhat was going thru the install hey can i e-mail you a ? i don't want to post here???
