Redhat 7.1 Kernal Directory

Does anybody know where the directory is for the Kernal Souce Code on Redhat 7.1? I'm trying to install the Cisco VPN client and it is asking for the directory where the Kernal Source code resides. It says the directory for 7.x is /usr/src/linux-2.4 but that directory does not exist.

yeah.. it should be in that area.. /usr/src
do you have anything in /usr/src or beyond that... that would resemble the kernel?

NO, not that I can see. There is an RPMS and SRPMS directory, but I don't think that is it. Would that directory have been installed by default, or did I have to choose it while I was installing? Because right not it goes to /usr/src/redhat/ and it has a few folders in there that are empty except for the RPMS and the SRPMS. Let me know if I have to re-install to get the correct folders.

Thanks...

if you install teh kernel-source package it will go to /usr/src/linux or somethign very similar

Hello,

Yep. I agree with bluecadet. The kernel-souce package is on the second CD with the RH 7.1 distribution. The source will install to either /usr/src/linux or /usr/src/linux-2.4 (if I remember correctly).
