Question red tip to programme indicator on ubuntu 12.10

This Isn't a problem as such more of an irritation.
Very occasionally when I turn on the computer and then go to a programme on the sidebar, the tip of the programme indicator is red, does anyone know why?
Apart from this everything works fine.:confused

It's possible that what you're seeing is a graphics artifact. I don't know what it is unless I see it, but it could be driver related. Do you know what video driver you're using?

Hi Angryfirelord,
It appears to be called experience standard, could that be right? As I say It doesn't appear to be a problem It's just puzzling.
