Red Hat Update Agent refuses any username

I have successfully connected to the Internet and the first thing I wanted to do was to update my installation of RH 9. However, the Red Hat Update Agent does not want to accept my username or any username for that matter. Whatever name I try, it always says "Problem registering username" and believe me, I have tried many and some very odd ones, too. Is there something I am missing?

Also my "Modem Lights" which I added to the panel do not seem to work at all, they just remain inactive.

You need to install the new new up2date and SSL keys:
https://rhn.redhat.com/help/latest-up2date.pxt
I did it on my first day, its not that hard, any questions just ask
