Red Hat + Mandrake
Hello All:

I am a newbie in the Linux World. I have installed Red Hat 8.0 (hda) on a standalone PC and everything works fine. Being a new user and I did add Mandrake 9.0 on a (hdb) 2nd partition but the original Red hat startup menu was overwrote by Mandrake Menu. How can I change back to Red hat Startup Menu with bootup options for RH and Man. I try to edit the Lilo.conf under
RH root system and enter command "/sbin/lilo" to overwrite the file and did not see any error. When rebooting the system, the Mandrake menu is still being used. What is wrong ?

Thanks :newbie:

Uh let me ask you this, does it work where you can access both?

" Old saying '' IF it ain't broke--- don't fix it""

My suggestion would be to leave it alone if you can access them both, probably what happen is the no matter which version you load first the last one's LILO is gonna have control.
