i can burn the iso disks on to a dvd if i can get such a site or link

Like r3sistance said, it depends on your hardware which version you need or want to download. Since you're beginning and learning, I'd go for the i386 download.

Just click on the link r3sistence gave you, next on i386, next the DVD ISO, it's number 9 in the list, the one with the largest size.
