Red Hat is open source and I can install any software. Only if you need support you need to pay for the service.
This is what I know. Am I wrong?

without the required contract
you basically can not install software

there are NO SECURITY updated
and it is nearly impossible to install any dependencies some manually installed or built from source program might need .

CentOS is the FREE version of the commercial RHEL

so NO you really can NOT

OK. I will ask someone else if I can use CentOS and make some tests if the application can be run on that OS and maybe I will ask you for some help than.
