Red Hat Alsa vt8233 ac97 audio controller problem
Alright, I am having the same problem as about a million other people, in that redhat 8 doesnt detect this card. I have no idea what I need to do in order to install alsa, all Iv managed to do is download the tar and extract it. All of the modinfo and other commands arent doing anything, im pretty sure that I dont have soundcore enabled though i'v tried like 6 ways to activate it, and i have tried just about every answer to this that i was able to find online, to no avail. Anyone know what I can do?
