Red Hat 8 keyboard and mouse problem
 
Hi everyone

I'm new with Linux

I'm installing Red Hat 8.0 on an old machine
Pentium II 350 Mhz
Diamond Viper 770 video card 16Mb
BTC mouse 2b+w
Maxtor HD 60Gb
Allied Telesyn Network card
Motorola 56k modem
128Mb RAM
Aopen AX6BC motherboard (Bios upgraded)
LG 52x Cd

During the installation everything runs very well but when the machine is rebooted the keyboard and mouse does not work.

Do anyone has a clue?

Problem solved
 
I connect a serial mouse and the problem was solved.:)

red hat isn't the greatest for newbies - mandrake has much bettter hardware support. i had no sound in red hat so switched to mandrake and have sound, but when i log off i loose the mouse :(
