Red Hat 8.0 won't install with GeForce 4 Ti 4200

Per the subject line ... I can't get Red Hat 8.0 to install with my GeForce 4 Ti 4200. Since by default it's trying to run the graphical install, it crashes out due to incorrect video driver. I'm booting off CD so no Kickstart floppy is involved.

Any ideas??

On what stage of install doest it crash?

stage of crash

during initial bootup, I see the hardware configuring (like the hard drives and floppies). then the dependencies start to load. right when it starts the graphical install portion (when it seems like X server starts), it dumps out saying the Nvidia driver didn't load.

Kind of like having the incorrect video driver setup in XF86Config and typing startx but it immediately dumps out complaining about the video driver.
