Red hat 8.0 installing drivers
Ok so my very first linux experiance I decided to go with redhat 8.0 because my intel D845GVR board says it supports the drivers. I have the OS up and running but i seems to have video refresh issues so I downloaded the driver directly to the Hard drive of the linux machine but when I double click the file to install is only gives me a text document I have no idea what to do with that
Thanks in advance -Curious Linux user |
Welcome to LQ and to Linux :) I would advise that you stop using RH8 - it's been end of life for a few years and is no longer maintained or supported. If you would like to stick with the Red Hat desktop, can I suggest that you go with Fedora? Your hardware will still be supported and you will have the benefit of much more up to date software.
