Red Hat 4.0 Linux Installation hanging on my new HP dx2480 PC
 
Hi,

I am trying to install Red Hat 4.0 on my new HP Compaq Dx2480 Microtower base unit PC, but its installation getting hanged after the first screen and its make my keyboard hanged too.
Also, I need to confirm that whether HP dx2480 PCs support Red Hat Linux or not.

oh that computer is supported but rhel4 came out in 2005 early 2006 pretty old stuff. but it should boot that computer so with this much info not much help. Try a new disk. RHEL 4 is a paid for system they have a support site
