Recover folder containing mp3s...
I was working on my PC and by mistake, I deleted a folder that contained a lot of mp3 files(songs) that I dont want to lose... It was in /home... What do I do now to regain those files with subfolders also??? I saw videos on youtube which were very confusing... Please help... _/\_

Shut down the computer and try not to boot it again until you get this figured out. Then get a LiveCD (maybe the disk you used to install Linux) and boot it, but don't mount anything. Then find a flash drive or another hard drive and attach it to the computer. Then run photorec or testdisk and have it save the files to the second drive. Hopefully, most of your mp3s will be there.
