Recover deleted LVM?
 

I wanted to extend one VG to 100 gb and I run command:

lvextend -L+100G /dev/vg/home'

it sucessfully extended and gave me 250GB.
Initially it was 150 GB.
Then I ran

mke2fs -j /dev/vg/home

It created 250GB but lost existing data about 100GB.

Any method to recover it?

Hey! I have replied to this forum elsewhere, I am sure!

I suggested the GParted Live CD. just use the terminal to use testdisk if you want to recover a partition, or photorec to recover data.

If you still have accesto your system, you don't need the live CD, just download testdisk from your repo (photorec is included).
