Okey I got the kernel to recompile (finally) but now when I boot to the new kernel it shows my little penguin friend then my capslock and numlock keys flash then it sits there and does nothing else, does anyone have a solution for this?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
