Question recommended book for PK encryption?

Greetings

I am planning to obtain a fair knowladge regarding SSL, Cetificates, CA e.t.c . I did read alot of articles on the internet but unfortunately/fortunately i cant "chain up things" if i dont know how each part internally works.

Is there any good book for public key cryptography (which is the method used by SSL) which can provide boath broad and in depth knowladge?

Thanks

I like Schneier's Applied Cryptography. It's more than just PK, but there is a big section on PK plus he's great at "chaining things up."
