Recognizing Pre-Install Partition

Hello, I have a host OS (Win 2K), running an install of Mandrake as a VM Ware user. My copy of VM Ware, and the Linux raw files VM Ware uses, are located in HDD's mounted through an integrated RAID, and I recently made a partition (FAT 32) on IDE 0; the same HDD my host OS is on. I want to get into this FAT 32 partition, while using this 'virtual machined' Mandrake install. I have no idea where to begin...

I used vmware for a while and read the manual... although I forgot what exactly it says in thier but I do know the answer to you question is in the manual.
