Rebuilding PC with Linux and WinXP partitions

I thought some of you might have an opinion on how I could rebuild my PC with a 40GB and a 120GB hard drive. I'd like to have Linux, Windows XP Pro, and data/apps partitions... I think. Take a look at my website's latest entry for the details and provide your input! Zepfanman.com

I think you can save a lot of trouble by installing XP first. Put it on the first partition of the primary master drive. Use the Windows setup to make and format that partition, be careful to not let Windows take the whole drive.
The install Linux using the linux setup to make and format the linux partitions. Be careful to not let Linux take the whole drive. Set up a boot loader ( grub / lilo ) during the linux install.
You can make a shared fat32 partition when you get both systems set up.
