Reason 4.0

I have just installed Ubuntu and I am loving it. I have several prgrams that I need to use like Reason 4.0 Fasoft n-track Studio 6.0 and Fruity Loops 8.0. can some tell me how to install these programs on this OS.

These are windowsprograms, no?
So you need to use wine to run them in linux.

Are those programs open source, or do they have linux versions avaliable?

If not, your best bet is to try wine, it lets you run windows binaries on linux, but it's not perfect. You might want to look into Virtual Box/QEMU or dual booting if those programs are essential.
