Really small and pixelated fonts

I feel kind of dumb asking this question, but I'm wondering why these fonts are soooo friggin small. I'm sitting here in netscape and I almost need a microscope to read some of this text.
First of all, my screen size is 1024x768, I'm using Red Hat 7.1, Gnome with the Seawolf window manager. I changed the size of the fonts in the window manager, so I can actually read the titles n all that, and I also changed the default size in Netscape to 16 pt font. That worked on SOME type, but like in this forum it's still waaaayyyyyy to small to read. What am I doin wrong?

this is a common problem with netscape, here's a couple of links on how to get better fonts.
