really need help moving ntfs partition files on the same hard drive

i have a dual boot on a single hard drive and yesterday i changed my xp password and now i cant remember it. so i have tried remebering and still... no progress. but i decided to just redo my windows. but i need alot of files from that partition. how do i transfer them to my ubuntu partition? i have breezy badger 5.10 or something. please please help

I will give you and answer you were not expecting, download burn and use the SystemrescueCD;

One of the features is the abilities to reset Windows passwords, using the ntpass boot floppy image included.

But to answer your question; fuse and ntfs-3g
