Really need an ASUS eeePC print driver for Brother MFC 440cn printer.
I just got an eeePC several weeks ago and really love it. But I cannot for the love of god find a print driver for my printer. A Brother MFC 440cn. I contacted Brother and they say they have no LINUX support for that model at this time. I tried the printer install wizard but no luck either. There must be a compatible driver for this machine that works on other Brother machines. Can anyone tell me where and which one it is?

I've configured brother printers under Ubuntu and it works well for me so I know its possible, but I did it so long ago and don't have the notes that I don't think I could offer any advice other than don't give up on it. I was not able to get the scanner functions working though.
