Really dumb installation question

Okay, I'm working on installing Mozilla on Mandy 9.0 from an rpm (I know, I know) and get the following dependency errors:

error: failed dependencies:
libnspr4 = 1.2.1-4mdk is needed by mozilla-1.2.1-4mdk
libnss3 = 1.2.1-4mdk is needed by mozilla-1.2.1-4mdk
libfontconfig.so.1 is needed by mozilla-1.2.1-4mdk
libXft.so.2 is needed by mozilla-1.2.1-4mdk
mozilla = 1.1 is needed by galeon-1.2.5-8.1mdk
mozilla = 1.1-10mdk is needed by mozilla-mail-1.1-10mdk
RESULT=1

Bomb. Anyway, I locate libnspr4 and try to install that and get an error that says it's needed by mozilla-1.2.1-4mdk. ????

I realize the need to get out of rpm hell. In the meantime I could really use some insight in understanding dependencies. Can anyone shed some light on what that error message is telling me and what thread do you pick out to start unwinding this furball?

I normally check RPMFind.net to solve dependency problems.

The listing for Mozilla 1.2.-4mdk can be found << HERE >>. It will list what it provides, and what it requires, and links to everything.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Sure enough. Man, I've done some silly s___ before, but that's a prize winner. For some reason when I boot up Linux I turn into a total techno-tard. Maybe I'm just snake bit or something.
