Real Player and Mozilla

Hi, i installed real-player 10, but i do not know how to enable Mozilla plug-in.
Typing re and<TAB> i also can not find an executable command for real-player.

(I am using Slackware 10 and 2.6.9 and i downloaded RPM version and converted in tgz with rpm2tgz command. If this could helps in helping me)

run "realplay" in the command line or if using KDE run the menu updating tool and realplayer will show up in the multimedia section. To configure mozilla, create a symlink as follows,

ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/mozilla/* /usr/lib/mozilla-1.7.x/plugins/.

Replace the paths above with the right ones for your system.

Yes, thank you. I have my plug-in now. I saw it typing aboutlugins in mozilla
But if i try to open a file in the net it still ask me for a plugin.
I run RP with /usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay and it works.
Could you re-explain me how to update KDE and show all the applications i installed?
There is no Real-Player in Multimedia menu:
Thank you again.

Yeah some files will play automatically if they are embedded in a webpage but others will ask you what application to use, so you are choosing the right app. To make realplayer appear in your KDE menu, do the following,

ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer /usr/bin/.

Then go to KMenu -> Settings -> Menu Updating Tool -> Scan. Once the scan is complete and you have found the applications, select "Select All" -> "Apply".
