reagrding QM_MODULE

I am using Suse 9.1 the kernel version 2.6.5.
I try to insert module with insmod.old -f driver.o, it is giving and error messaage
insmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

From the forum, i got the details like i need to implement module-init-tools. But which version should i install for my version of linux. how to find out the current version of module-init-tools installed?
