A few weeks ago, it was reported that Google had paid programmers to make WINE work on some common apps, photoshop comes to mind. That apparently gave a big boost to WINe as far as 1.00 status.

AutoCad is another must have compatibility. Word is already available in proprietary Crossover, though many can use open office.
