Reading Windows files in Linux

Is it possable to read Windows based files in Linux? I would like to have linux read the mp3's I have on my xp partitions so I can listen to them while I get more familiar with Linux. Is this possable?

Why wouldn't you search? there is planty of info here, just put in "fat32, ntfs, windows read files" in the search a you'll get quite a list. Plus there is always http://www.tldp.org where you can find any imaginable not only linux related how-to out there.
Good luck.

One quick reply, yes you can read files from windows when inside linux but you'll have a harder time if you windows is partitioned using the NTFS instead of FAT. Now if you want to accomplish this, neo said the magic words to go search as this is asked at least 2 or 3 times a week.. sometimes 2 or 3 times a day..
