I have been trying to install pmipv6 patch on ubuntu ns 2.29 on ubuntu 8.10

I am using ubuntu-9.10 (p4 desktop-i386); having gcc-4.4.1. But, for the installation of ns2.27, I am in need of gcc,g++-3.3; which is not available in synaptic. So, I tried to install using deb packages.

But, I am getting this error.

We need to have libstdc++5_3.3.6-15ubuntu4_i386.deb package also along with the mentioned above.



Yes, for ns2.27 on Ubuntu9.10, you must have gcc-3.3. It makes it easier to install.

Any queries on this, plz feel free to ask. I spent almost a week for ns2.27 on ubuntu9.10. Finally, its working :)
