Re-distributing the source code.

Hello,

I am a Student.

Could some one help me on redistributing minix/freebds/fedora source code for my final year project.

Any mentors there ?

Best Regards

Welcome to LQ!!

I don't know about mentors, but we have all manner of interesting people here.......What exactly is your question?

With respect to (re)distributing source code, the first thing to check is the license for the code in question.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!

GNU 'Philosophy' would be a starting point. 'GNU.org' would provide even more information about GNU.

The above link and others available from 'Slackware-Links'. More than just SlackwareŽ links!

Thanks for your replies.
Really I'm happy with your replies and suggested links.

I've got the solutions for my question. But to attain the solution I need some years(my final yr project might fail :-( ). So I've turned to Kernel module programming.

Thanks & Regards
Mark
