i was on a remote desktop where i got stucked and i think i killed some system processes .. now when i am trying to log on i see a blank screen and no taskbar..remote desktop was a win7

on windows you can hardly kill system processes, because they are protected against that. Otherwise probably you need to reboot that OS.

Sounds like the win7 box got hosed, did you kill any services? The easiest way as the other poster said is to have the remote machine rebooted. You might be able to do so from another windows machine using the shutdown command or psshutdown.
