If im not mistaken, this is where we put the trusted domains for the network to be able to send message to.Obviously for security reasons,i guess...How can i allow my mail clients to send to any domain they wish without placing it to rcphost? But of course without risking the security of my server and the whole network against spammers and all...

Thanks people....

without being an expert, what I understand is that rcpthosts defines hosts for which you are happy to relay email for. i.e. you accept to send email away if it originates on the localhost for example or other pc's (hosts) on the network, but then you will place those in rcpthosts or other files depending on what the server man page is telling you ....that's that.
