Question rcatd? Not found anywhere. Need enlightenment please

In my Linux + Certification book, it says that there is a command 'rcatd status', that is suppose to allow me to check and see what demons are running. I am using Slackware 13.37 and Chrunchbang and I even checked man pages online. There is no sign of that command anywhere. Is there a script to make something or a package to install rcatd? Please comment, thanks.

Found this.

A file server written in java using tcp sockets that is multithreaded, uses log4j for logging, and is daemonized after startup. The program is called "rcatd" because it works in conjunction with "rcat", which is meant to act like a remote cat of a file using a very very basic protocol ("MEOW")
