Post Rawstudio and gconf-2.0

Hi Folks,
This should'ent be too diffucult. I am trying to install Rawstudio, but needed 3 files adding gtk+2.0, libxml+2.0 and gconf+2.0. The first two downloaded and installed OK.

But gconf+2.0 don't seem to want to do it, it looks like some of these are Gnome based, but I use KDE not sure if that matters. But where do I find gconf??

Synaptic package manager can't find it on my system or even want to download it, like the others??

If you have a fav raw file editor! I'd like to know about it.

Many thanks

Mel.

You can get LightZone. It's a professional java-based raw photos editor.
