Rar problem
I've just installed linux, and now I want to unrar my music files which i have put in a RAR file with winrar. Now I can't unrar the files. I use "rarlinux-3.4.1.tar.gz" as rar program.
I would also like to know where I can browse the different harddisks on my computer.
Thanks Zakos

look for a program called unrar. Once it's installed you extract files by doing, "unrar e filename.rar"

To extract them all using only rar (without any subdirectories in its current map)

Well, what distro are you using coz there could be prebuilt packages already available. You can also get the source from freshmeat.

rar is available in the "contrib" mirrors. Go to EasyUrpmi (see my sig for link) and set up your mirrors.

Well, to browse it, it has to be "mounted". If it was there when you installed Mandrake, chances are it is mounted. look in the "/mnt" directory. That is the default place that things are mounted. It might be named something like "/mnt/win_c_drive", or similar.
