range of addresses in squid
hello brothers and sisters, this is my first question in linuxq.org i have one server loaded fedora8 and i have small setup of 40 clients running in my lab. my server has 2 eths has addresses of 175.100.100.50 and 192.168.1.1 as eth0 and eth1. my clients have addresses from 192.168.1.2 to 40.
i have internet connection only on 175.100.100.50. port 3128. i want to share it to all my clients running on windows xp. what is the address should i set in windows client with port? 3128 is used to connect to the proxy which i had connected with 175.100.100.220 port 3128 who is the internet provider for my system(175.100.100.50 : 3128). i put squid and keep on trying to do this work for a pst 2 months atlast i found the squid is running but my clients are unable to browse the internet. little bit confusing?
is there any answers from linux experts most welcome
