random problems with Mozilla and more

I went to start my browser today, and i get the "resolving host" on the bottom of the page. So, i figured my wireless card was acting funny, so i restarted. Then i started pinging various websites, all of them responded, so i am definitly connected. But still Mozilla will not connect. Any ideas?

Did you try going to different sites? Do you use a proxy server? Are you able to access the internet with a different browser? Am I asking too many questions?
