Random keyboard problems!!

I was going along just fine trying to make my wireless card on my iMac work, and as I was typing in terminal, the keyboard just stopped responding. I took it out of the USB port and back in, did nothing. So I rebooted. It went along fine for a while, then it acted like I was constantly pressing enter. Again, reconnecting did nothing. A dysfunctional keyboard does make an operating system somewhat impossible to use... any fixes?

Is this actually Linux related? You're only mentioning an
iBook, and no distro ... on that note: consider updating your
profile in this respect, makes it easier for our members to
give you targeted support.
